''We achieved the maximum result'' – Kvyat

Daniil Kvyat says seventh place in qualifying for the British Grand Prix was the best result possible.

Red Bull have looked strong all weekend, in comparison to previous events. The Russian out-qualified team-mate Daniel Ricciardo who’s last lap was deleted for exceeding track limits.

“Our starting position is the maximum we could have achieved for today. I drove everything out of the car, I don’t think there was anything left to extract. We came here without any big expectations and the car is handling really well this weekend.

Kvyat is looking to convert his seventh place in qualifying into a strong points finish.

I have a good feeling about this track and looking forward to the race tomorrow. The race conditions can be quite challenging but we are hoping to get some good points.”
