Rosberg leads the way in second practice in Brazil

Nico Rosberg set the pace in second practice for the Brazilian Grand Prix at the Autódromo José Carlos Pace.

On the option tyre, Rosberg set a blistering lap to top second practice. He was a whopping four-tenths of a second clear of Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton.

Rain threatened for most of the session but it never came down enough to disrupt running at Interlagos.

Like for the most of 2015, Sebastian Vettel was best of the rest in third, nearly one second off the pace set by Hamilton.

Kimi Raikkonen ended the session fourth ahead of Daniel Ricciardo in fifth, who is running an upgraded Renault engine.

Valtteri Bottas, Romain Grosjean, who was back in the Lotus car after missing FP1, Nico Hulkenberg, Daniil Kvyat and Brazilian driver Felipe Massa rounded out the top ten.

McLaren’s Fernando Alonso was forced to step out on circuit as he suffered another engine problem.

Will Stevens was three-tenths quicker than teammate Alexander Rossi at the back of the field.
