Sauber will officially debut their 2016 Formula One car at the second pre-season test in Barcelona between March 1st and 4th 2016 according to AUTOSPORT.
It is understood the team had intended to unveil the C35 at the first test originally scheduled for March 1st but due to the change in schedule the team intends to delay the unveil until the second test, as this was the date they initially prepared for. Sauber will still participate in the first test but instead of using their 2016 model they will instead, run a modified version of their 2015 car (the C34) with their 2016 livery.
It is believed most other teams will scrap tradition of having a live unveiling in the weeks leading up to the first test in favour of unveiling them on the morning of the first test, which takes place on February 22nd. This is to give themselves enough time to complete the cars, due to the extra strain placed on the teams as a result of the season opener and test days being brought forward.
