Marcus Ericsson has been given the all clear to race in the British Grand Prix on Sunday after he was taken to hospital as a result of a high-speed crash during final practice.
Ericsson lost control of his car on the exit of Stowe, touching the grass that was wet following rain earlier in the session and spun across the track into the inside tyre barrier.
The Swede was subsequently taken to a hospital in Oxford for routine check-ups which included a CT scan.

Ericsson will be allowed to start from the pitlane after failing to participate in qualifying on Saturday.
“Following a medical examination undertaken this morning at the Silverstone Circuit Medical Centre, the FIA has cleared Sauber F1 Team driver Marcus Ericsson to take part in today’s British Grand Prix.”
Sauber have yet to score a point in 2016 and languish last in the championship behind Manor.
